Mooca is a neighborhood of São Paulo.

The region was the gateway to hundreds of thousand of immigrants on late 19th and early 20th centuries. Brás became a industrial area while Mooca mixed industries and workers villages, where mostly Italians lived. Nowadays the proximity to downtown São Paulo has made Mooca and emerging neighboorhood, as Brás stands as a popular commercial center.
