Rosses Point

Rosses Point is a city in County Sligo.

Drive through Sligo on the dual carriageway. Pick up the signs for Rosses Point and follow them. After about 5 miles (8km) you get to Rosses Point village.

The bus for Rosses Point leaves the Sligo bus and train station. You can also get on across the road from the Ulster Bank in Sligo town. There are regular buses from Sligo. See Bus Eireann [1] for details.

This is an unusual way to get to Rosses Point. You can contact the MV Spirit, a charter boat that is based in Sligo. They will bring you on the short trip from Sligo harbour out to Rosses Point Pier. You can even take in a bit of fishing or sight seeing on the way. If your lucky on the fishing trip, the Chef's in Austies can cook up your catch for your dinner that night! The return trip can be done on the Sea Star with Daryl from Sligo Boat Charters.
