Robe [1] is a historic town on the Limestone Coast of South Australia.

Robe is features in the Australian National Museum, to represent a time in history. At one point Robe was the third largest port in South Australia, although the rugged coastline makes it generally unsuitable for shipping.

Robe has mild summers, with the average summer temperature around 22°C.

Robe is on the coast between Mount Gambier and Adelaide, just off the B1. It is 3.5 hours and 340km drive from Adelaide and 7 hours and 500km from Melbourne.
Premier Stateliner [2] run a bus every day except Saturday from Adelaide to Mount Gambier via the coast, which stops in Robe.
