Rivière-du-Loup [1] is a city in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Southeastern Quebec.

Rivière-du-Loup is at the junction of Autoroute 20 and Autoroute 85/Highway 185 and is the point where the Trans-Canada highway turns south into the Atlantic Provinces. It is 200 km northeast of Quebec City (about two hours drive).
