Risør A very well preserved coast town between Kristiansand and Oslo, with an old history of sailing ships and lumber export in the golden days in the late 18 century. Nowadays known for art and handicraft.

The white woodenhouse in the inner city makes the town known as "Den hvite by ved Skagerak". Nice place to stay "Det Lille Hotell" They offer luxury apartments with fully equipped kitchen for your own cooking, at a very fair price. [1]
