  • Caxias do Sul - A charming city noted for its many industries, particularly bus manufacturing (Marco Polo) and truck trailers (Randon). The city is growing rapidly and has many fine restaurants and some interesting night life, including the Mississippi Blues Bar - right out of Mississippi with pictures from the Crossroads, the birthplace of the blues.

The best way to get to Rio Grande do Sul is to fligth to Porto Alegre (Salgado Filho Airoport) from Sao Paulo or Rio which are the main arrivel airport from abroad.

From Porto Alegre you can reach anywher else in Rio Grande do Sul by renting a car, tour operator or just get out of the Salagado Filho Airport and get a transfer to the Trensurb type of a Tram to the city center of Porto Alegre or get off in the Rodoviaria Station(Couch station) and you can go to many other destinations form there, the buses are prety safe and confortable.
