There's more than one place called Rincon or Rincón:

[edit] Falkland Islands

  • Rincon / Rincon Grande - a settlement on East Falkland

[edit] Netherlands Antilles

[edit] Puerto Rico

  • Rincón - a town in the Porta del Sol (West Coast) region. Rincon is located on the upper Northwest corner of Puerto Rico. The town is also known as La Cuidad de los Bellos Artadaceres, or the City of Beautiful Sunsets, because it's West coast location allows visitors the best view of sunsets on the island. Rincon is known for it's world-class surf breaks, after being discovered by the world after the 1968 World Surfing Championships were hosted in Rincon. Rincon is also fast being reputed as a top dive destination, with scuba divers flocking to the reef surrounding Desecheo Island, just 13 miles off of Rincon's coast. The town has held fast to it's small town vibe, eschewing sky-rise apartments and traditional tourist trap restaurants and shops. Rincon is most easily accessed by flights to the nearby Aguadilla Airport (BQN) and is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours driving time from San Juan (SJU).
