Recaș is situated at a distance of 21 km from Timisoara and 37 km from Lugoj,on the national road DN6 (European E70). The city has access to Timisoara airport, located 20 km away.

• House of Culture Ion Cojar (Casa de Cultura Ion Cojar), Recas. Includes a hall with a capacity of 400 seats, exhibition space, conference room and town library that offers its readers about 15,000 volumes in Romanian, German, Hungarian, Serbian, French and English.  edit
