Ranaghat is a small town beside the river "Churni" in the Nadia district of West Bengal. The name Ranaghat comes from the name of a "Dakat Rana". This is the grate character of "Bandemataram," by "Bankim Ch. Chatthapdhay". Nearby is a small village named Anulia.
