Radovljica is a historic town in the Julian Alps of Slovenia.


The name is pronounced "Rad-oh-leets-ah" in Slovenian and often abbreviated to Radol'ca.

It is 45 km northwest of Ljubljana on Hwy A2 and 8 km southeast of Bled.

Beekeeping Museum. It is small but unique, taking 20-30 minutes to view. Entry is €3.

City Museum. Entry €3.

Starting in 2012, there is an annual chocolate festival on the 3rd weekend of April, featuring chocolate from Slovenian companies. Entry to the museums is also two-for-one.
