Quthing is a town in the south of Lesotho
Quthing lies in the southern part of Lesotho and borders near the East Cape province of South Africa.
Quthing was established in 1877, abandoned during the Gun War in 1880, and rebuilt at its present site is the southernmost city of Lesotho.
The Senqu River flows through the district and town Quthing as it makes its long journey to the Atlantic Ocean. The border post between Lesotho and South Africa is called Tele Bridge.
Impressive rock and cave art can be found near Quthing which were created by the San people who settled in this area.
