Qabala is a city in Azerbaijan's Sheki Region.

Qabala is rich with historical monuments there are many memorials in Qabala. For example remainder of old Cuacasian Albania`s capital Qabala, the stone monuments in the village Hachalli (IV century), Surkhay tower in the village Boyuk Emilli (B.C. I millennium) the temple in village Hacalli (IV centruy), Surkhay toüer in the south part of town (X-XIII centuries), as castle in village Yengiche (IV-XIV centuries) Monuments in village (antique period) Yenikend. Tower in village Hazra (X:V-XV centuries) and etc. There are generally more than 93 memorials in Qabala.

  • Summer –the best time for visitors’ coming.
  • Fall- rainy, but full of bounty.
  • Winter- you can never imagine Qabala without snow.

If you come by the taxi from Baku it takes 2 and half hours and costs 10AZN for one person and 40 AZN for the whole cab.

If you by minibus it takes 3 hours, costs 5 AZN for one person.

There is no airport or train in Qabala.

Number 1 and 2 minibuses run from the bus station to Chanlar restaurant. They cost 20 copek.
