Prince Rupert has a small airport with domestic service only to Vancouver by propeller plane. Flights take two hours each way. There are two flights a day on Air Canada and one flight a day on Hawkair. Prince Rupert airport is located on Digby Island which is a short ferry ride away from Prince Rupert. There is a free shuttle bus/ferry service between the airport and downtown Prince Rupert. Because of the additional time required for the airport bus and ferry, it takes four hours to travel between downtown Prince Rupert and Vancouver International Airport.
