Pop

Pop is a city in Namangan. The original name of the city was Bob, "gate" in arabic. Eventually it got to Bop and then to Pop. It was one of the silkroad cities. Now it is small, calm city, where travelers might go to see the real life of Uzbek people.

There is just one way to Fergana Valley and district of Pop is the first one there. The taxies from Tashkent that go to Fergana Valley can take you to Pop easily. From the capital of region - Namangan - there are taxies and minibuses that go to Pop.

It is a small city so you can easily see it on foot. You can stop a taxie if you want to go somewhere further.
