Ponmudi (Malayalam: പൊന്മുടി) (The Golden Peak) is a hill station located in the Trivandrum district of Kerala. The hill station is located 62 km north-east of Trivandrum City. The hill station is located at an altitude of 1100m. The hill station is an extension of the Western Ghats and runs parallel to Arabian Sea. The place offers so amazing experience in the form of trekking and hiking. The nearby teagardens are a soothing experience. The hill station is an important point of contact with the river Kallar. The river is known for its crystal clear water, fishes and lush trees surrounding it.

The nearest airport is Trivandrum international airport at a distance of 62 km. Buses ply from the main bus stand in Trivandrum at periodic intervals. Taxis are available from the Central Station at Trivandrum and Airport.
