Polmear, in Cornwall, is a small settlement at the edge of Par Sands, between Par and Fowey at the bottom of Polmear Hill. It is half a mile from Twywardreath village.

In days gone by, when sea sea levels were higher and there was less silt, Polmear had a small quay and a lime kiln. Now, the settlement is approx 400 m from the main beach car park, on a small river, which once may have been a ford at low tide.
