Pitres [1] is a small town in the province of Granada, in the La Tahá municipality, in Andalucia (or Andalusia), Spain. The other main towns in the area are Mecina Fondales and Ferreirola, but Pitres is La Tahá's economic and governmental center. The area forms a part of La Alpujarra
