Pendleton is a small city in Eastern Oregon. The city is situated in a pleasant valley set among hilly cropland on the I-84 several hours east of Portland. It is the location of one of the manufacturing plants of Pendleton Woolen Mills.

Pendleton Airport (IATA: PDT) is served by SeaPort Airlines [1] with service to and from Portland. More distant airport options include Walla Walla (40 miles away on two-lane highways) with Alaska/Horizon service to Seattle, and Pasco's Tri-Cities Airport (70 miles away via divided Interstate highways) with multiple connections on Alaska, Allegiant, Delta, and United.

There is also a Greyhound station in Pendleton. Two buses come through each day. Service is offered east to west on I-84.

Roosters - 1515 Southgate Place. Southbound 395 from exit 209 on the I-84. Good breakfast menu although they don't open until 8 am.

"Great Pacific" - 403 South Main. Great and friendly atmosphere. Several beers on tap, and quite the wine selection. Not open Sunday.
