  • Pacific Coast Backpacker Route. More and more people are doing this route in Oaxaca. The circuit includes stops in Oaxaca city, Puerto Escondido, Mazunte, Zipolite, Huatulco, and then off to San Cristobal de las Casas in Chiapas or off to Guatemala via Tapachutla. Route growing in popularity because of new road construction from Oaxaco to P.E., and Huatulco International Airport which has more and more arrivals.  edit
