Butley ferry is an ancient foot ferry situated to the south of Orford. It runs on weekends and bank holidays from end of April to end of September 11am - 4pm. It is advised to call ahead to check it is running, or book for parties travelling on week days: 07913 672499

You can have a nice walk around the beach or the romantic Orford Ness, which is outstandingly pretty, the local villages are an option or the nice and medieval civil parishes.
