Opiki is a "settlement" (in the loosest sense of the word) on the Manawatu plain in New Zealand. Its population in 2005 was 350.

Opiki is one of the strongest potato-growing areas in NZ.

Get in[edit]

  • Opiki effectively starts as you go over the new bridge (you will pass by the old toll bridge which was washed away in 1974?) and it finishes as you go over the railway line towards Shannon.
