- From Bangkok, take bus to Ko Samet (about 3 hours plus 1-1.5 hours for boat) or Ko Chang (4-6 hours). Spend 4-5 days or visit Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Pattaya and Sukhothai around Bangkok
.
- Return to Bangkok and fly to Phuket (45 mins), or take the bus (8-10 hours), or use the train (Surat Thani Station) (6-8 hours).
You may choose to visit Surat Thani (province) 's main city Ko Samui by bus (9hrs), train (9hrs), plane (55mins), or ferry for its touristic islands and beach.
- Ferry to Ko Phi Phi (1 hour). 2 days.
- Ferry from Ko Phi Phi to Ko Lanta (1-2 hours). 4-5 days.
- Ferry back to Krabi. Bus to Surat Thani and ferry to Ko Pha Ngan (8 hours). In 4-5 days, it is possible to do a day trip to the national park, go scuba diving or rock climbing and get back to Ko Samui.
- Take a Ko Samui flight back to Bangkokor Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand (1.50hrs) or ferry to Surat Thani's main city and back to Bangkok by bus (9hrs), train (9hrs), or plane (55mins).
