Omoa is in Honduras. It is a town on the Caribbean Sea coast, just west of Puerto Cortes and a short journey north of San Pedro Sula.
Omoa was the main Caribbean port of Honduras until the mid 19th century, now it is a picturesque small town a pleasant day trip from San Pedro Sula.
