There is only one airport in Oltenia:

  • Craiova International Airport (Aeroportul Internaţional Craiova, IATA: CRA, ICAO: LRCV) is the 8th busiest airport in Romania (138 886 passengers in 2014). It is served by scheduled flights from Italy (Bologna, Milan and Rome), Germany (Dortmund), Spain (Barcelona), UK (London). The scheduled flights are operated only by Wizz Air.

The airport is connected to the city of Craiova by bus #9.
