Oceano is a city in San Luis Obispo County, California. It is part of the Five Cities Metropolitan Area which also includes Arroyo Grande to the north-east, and Grover Beach, Pismo Beach and Shell Beach to the north.

The closest commercial airports are San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. Also nearby is Santa Barbara Airport.

Oceano is home to Oceano County Airport [1], a public general aviation airfield operated by San Luis Obispo County. Transient aircraft parking is available.

Oceano is less than 2 mi (3 km) off Highway 101, south of San Luis Obispo.

Nearest train station is in the adjacent city of Grover Beach.
