Catarman Airport is the main gateway to the province coming from Manila. Zest Airways and South East Asian Airlines serve the capital town.
Buses from Manila going to th Visayas and Mindanao pass through its roll-on/roll-off port of Allen in the western side, which is about 45 minutes from Catarman. Some of the buses roll on to their destinations in the Visayas and Mindanao and the rest roll to their destinations in the eastern coastal towns of Northern Samar passing through Catarman. Buses and vans connect the capital town of Catarman to the cities of Calbayog, Catbalogan, and Tacloban.
Vans and jeepneys serve the various towns in the province while boats serve the island municipalities of the province such Laoang, Biri, Capul, and San Antonio among others.
Get a pumpboat from Lavezares (50P one way) to Biri. Simple Accommodation starting from 150P, better rooms available for example in Villa Amor. Keep in mind that there is no ATM, so bring plenty of cash, and no electricity between midnight and noon. The rock formations can be reached by habal-habal. Keep the tides in mind, during low tide its an easy hike to the rocks, at high tide its more difficult.
