Nassfeld is a ski resort on the border between Austria and Italy

The airports in Klagenfurt and Ljubljana are both about the same distance from Nassfeld. Travel time appox. one hour by car. Many hotels will arrange pick up by minibus.

  • Cube A giant, futuristic youth hostel, next to the cable car station in Troepolach. Beds from €20/night; lavish breakfast and sauna included.

Most restaurants on the pistes are mediocre.

  • Livio pizzeria/restaurant on the pass road on the Italian side of the border (5-10 min walk from the ski piste).
