Nakusp, [1], is a town in the West Kootenays of south eastern British Columbia.

Nakusp is located on the east side of Arrow Lake (Columbia River) about an hour drive and a 20 minute ferry ride south of Revelstoke on the Trans Canada Highway.

  • Go for a walk along the waterfront overlooking the Nakusp harbour. The town has done an excellent job of making the promenade attractive with benches, flower and shrub gardens and pleasant shade trees.
  • Visit the Nakusp Hot Springs located a few kilometers along the Hot Springs Road on the north side of Nakusp.
  • Play a round of golf at the Nakusp Golf Course.
