Vidarbha has got its own language which is called as Varhadi. Its one of the version of Marathi language. Apart from Marathi, Hindi is windely used throughtout the Vidarbha region. In fact, Marathi is very well mixed with Hindi and hence its slightly different than pure Marathi language.
The local language is Marathi but hindi is understood by almost all the people.

- The Sevagram Ashram (Bapu Kuti), Sevagram (8 Kms From Wardha City), [1]. Sevagram Ashram was the birth place of the Non-Cooperation Movement against British Rule in India Started by Mahatma Gandhiji in the year September 1920 it lasted for 2 years.
