Nago-Torbole is in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Northeast Italy.

Nago and Torbole are really two villages. Torbole is at the northern shore of Lake Garda. Nago lies two kilometers north, and uphill, with a great view over Lake Garda.

You can enter Nago-Torbole by car, but also by bus from Verona (http://www.gardasee.de/download/Aptv%20Linie%2062-64.pdf).

You don't need your own car. Local buses will take you to other destinations in the area. Taxi is not to expencive, as the distances are short.

• Canyoning: There are a few companies offering half-day and day trips with various difficulty. (http://www.canyonadv.com/ and http://www.gardacanyoning.eu/) Great fun, and you don't have to be particularly fit or strong to do it! Obs: You need shoes which you can remove the inner sole from (for your foot to fit with a wetsuit-sock on).
