P.S: Do check the train timetable beforehand to plan the day properly. You will need at least 6 hours to enjoy Mount Titlis (and two full days to explore and enjoy it to the fullest) and four hours will be consumed by the train journey both ways.

Good weather is required for any trip in the mountains, otherwise you’ll see nothing but clouds and fog. The weather in the Alps is impossible to predict for more than a day or two in advance. If you catch an overcast or ebven rainy day, Plan B is to stay in Engelberg, enjoy the scenic village, perhaps take a visit to the century old monastery or the nearby cheese factory.
