From Petoskey (North): Take US-31, turn left onto CR-C48/Thumb Lake Rd, turn Right onto N Old 27/CR-C48, merge onto I-75 South toward Saginaw, merge onto US-127 via Exit 249 toward Clare/Lansing, merge onto N Mission Street/US-127 via Exit 144 toward Mt. Pleasant. Total drive time and mileage: approx. 2 hr 21 min and 142 mi.

From South (Flint): Merge onto I-475 N, merge onto I-75 N/ US-23 N toward Saginaw, merge onto US-10 via Exit 162B toward Midland, merge onto US-10/M-20 via the exit on the left toward Downtown Midland, turn left onto Jerome Street/M-20 and continue to follow M-20 West, turn left onto Mission Street/US-127. Total drive time and mileage: approx. 1 hr 40 min and 91 mi.

From Grand Rapids (West): Take US-131 N, take M-46, Exit 120, Continue to follow W Howard City, Edmore Rd/M-46, turn LEFT onto Six Lakes Rd/N Six Lakes Rd/M-66. Continue to follow M-66, turn RIGHT onto M-20/9 Mile Rd. Continue to follow M-20, turn left onto US-127-BR/M-20/S Mission St. Total drive time and mileage: approx. 1 hr 31 min and 85 mi.

Maintained by the Chippewa Valley Auduon Club, this 40-acre preserve is located at the end of Wing Road and west of Winn Road. Open from dawn till dusk, the preserve offers visitors a peaceful surrounding to observe nature.
  • Parks and Recreation. Nature lovers of all ages will find that the Mount Pleasant area provides ample opportunities for year-round enjoyment of the outdoors. Mount Pleasant has over 15 parks to choose from, offering an abundance of beautiful areas for picnics, fishing, swimming, nature and bike trails, sledding, cross-country skiing, as well as a skate park. From humble beginnings, this is fast becoming one of the biggest pow-wow events in Indian Nation.
