Moravian Karst (Moravský kras) is in South Moravia region of the Czech Republic.

To the Punkva caves or the Macocha Abyss: Drive to Skalní Mlýn (Rock Mill), or take Krasobus from Blansko (http://www.krasobus.cz/indexen.html). There is an information center, restaurants, and a hotel. Then either walk (2km) or take the small train up to the caves. An aerial tramway (lanovka) takes you to the hilltop where you can look into the Macocha Abyss from above. There are restaurants and souvenir shops.
