Moraga [1] is in Contra Costa County in the Bay Area of California. It is part of the Lafayette-Orinda-Moraga trifecta that locals call Lamorinda.

The town cannot be reached directly from the freeway, with only a handful of roads that connect it to the rest of the world. County Connection bus #106 goes to Moraga from Lafayete and Orinda Bart station and bus #206 just goes from Orinda Bart station. The buses stop all over Moraga and go to St. Mary's College.

Moraga Commons Park where you can go to the Skate Park, play basketball or frisbee golf.

There are summer concerts on Thursday night at the Moraga Commons.

• Orinda - A mostly residential city, Orinda does offer a movie theater that is a throwback to the golden years of cinema.
• Berkeley - Located on the other side of the hills, Berkeley has a well-deserved reputation as a kooky bastion of liberal activists. More importantly to the traveler, it offers an excellent selection of bars and restaurants.
• Lafayette - A mostly residential town that offers interesting dining opportunities and is home to the Lafayette Reservoir, a great spot for hiking or jogging.
