Mesilla [1] is a city in Southweast, New Mexico.

Located off Interstate 10, and also nearby junction of I-10 and I-25. If not arriving by car, then El Paso International Airport is the normal point of arrival.

The Farm and Ranch Museum has a couple of cows for viewing...

Walk around and look at crumbling adobe houses. The historic designation helps to retain the town's heritage, but modern road traffic is causing buildings to crumble. No solutions have been offered.

The Mesilla Plaza has several little tourist shops around it. There are also eating and drinking establishments in the area.

Eat at Bravo's Cafe on S. Main St, across from Mesilla Park train station. Best Chile Rellenos in the world!

El Patio Bar is famous. They have nice T-Shirts, too. Wherever you drink, you will likely run into Mesilla's controversial Mayor.

Meson de Mesilla seems like a nice B&B. Otherwise Las Cruces (adjoining city) has numerous choices.
