  • The Florida Jitney and Limousine Company, 1-877-FL-JITNEY, [1]. Dunnellon and Inverness are two of the quirkiest small towns in Florida. They also have an abundance of charm and Old South hospitality. Getting to them however, is not easy, given their remote locales. This company offers service near to these villages. The nearest Station Locations are in nearby Belleview annd Wildwood. Continuous, 24 hour service transports its guests up to Gainesville and the University of Florida. Southbound Jitneys also operate continuously, with stops at the Orlando International Airport as well as at the Mall at Millenia, the International Drive Attractions Corridor as well as at the Universal Resorts and famed CityWalk Entertainment Complex. Many locals take the Jitney for a full day outing and catch the "Red Eye" home after an evening of dining and dancing. The rate to Orlando is $39 each way with further discounts for round trip purchases. For tourists staying in Orlando, it would be well worth a day of their vacation to experience the quainter side of Florida, before it disappears.
