Mapungubwe National Park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site (one of five in South Africa) rich in biodiversity, great scenic beauty and cultural importance of archaeological treasures. The Park is located in the Limpopo Province and is approximately 200km from Polokwane. It is a great destination for those interested in South Africa's rich cultural history, bird-viewing, or to relax and enjoy the stunning landscape and vistas.
