Macdoel

Macdoel is a town in Siskiyou County in California. To get there from Weed, turn on US-97 N until you reach it. It is nearby Meiss Lake, and has an elementary school. Potato manufacturing is big here.

This lake is good for birding (there is a nice birding trail overlooking it). It also has a waterfowl hunting ranch. It used to be a very large lake, but now it is only a remnant.
