London/Kings Cross

For other places with the same name, see Kings Cross (disambiguation).

Kings Cross is a well-known district of north Central London.

The fame of the location derives from the two main London railway stations there - Kings Cross and St Pancras International (so close together, they are virtually one) - and the fact that a large number of main roads converge at this point. Although more than a little rundown in places, having some reputation for the seedier side of London life, Kings Cross is nonetheless going through the early stages of a major renewal cycle.

Chop Chop Noodle Bar Opposite the entrance to King's Cross station, big portions and everything on the menu costs about £3.50. Obviously, the food isn't amazing (usual takeaway standard), but certainly no complaints about the price and if you're hungry with half an hour to kill before your train this place is a manna from heaven. They do takeaways as well and give you a plastic fork without even being asked.
