Little Lever

Little Lever is a village in the Borough of Bolton in Greater Manchester



Little Lever sits beside the Bolton and Bury Canal on undulating ground. It lies within the Historic County of Lancashire. It is part of Bolton South parliamentary constituency.

Little Lever's character is of bungalows, semi-detached houses and terraced houses. Similar to nearby Radcliffe and Farnworth, Little Lever does have its rough parts but is mainly a quiet and peaceful area.

Get in[edit]

About 3 miles south east of Bolton town centre, and 3 and a half miles west of Bury. It is about half a mile north of Radcliffe.

By car[edit]

From Farnworth, Little Lever is reached by driving up up Hall Lane, and from Radcliffe by taking Stopes Road.

The Bolton and Bury Canal runs through Little Lever.



There are a few shops in the centre, including groceries and a newsagent.



There are several pubs in the area such as the New Inn and Hardy Hall.
