Liptovsky Hradok is a town in the Liptov region of northern Slovakia.

The most favourite summer sports are tennis, soccer, roller skating and the cycling in neighbouring forrest valleys.

Skiing on the nearby hill is favourite sport in the winter. Ice-skating is also possible on the river Vah.

In the city center you can stay in the Hotel SMREK (smrek means spruce in english). Price is starting as low as 14 EUR/night. Other, but more expensive option, is accomodation in the Grand Castle.
