  • Nkwichi Lodge (Manda Wilderness), Lake Niassa (A short charter flight from Malawi or a scenic 4 hour drive from Lichinga.), [1]. An award winning eco-lodge, set on the sugar white sands of Lake Niassa / Lake Malawi. Hand crafted, unique and romantic chalets hidden below the tree line. Showers emerging from trees and baths molded into the rocks. Nkwichi Lodge is the driving force behind the Manda Wilderness Conservation Area, owned and managed by the local communities. This is an example of Responsible Tourism at its best.  edit
