There are two airports in the vicinity of Lesser Poland, the first being Kraków Airport. it's situated 20 kilometres west of Krakow and offers many destinations across Europe. the airport is mainly known for its fogs, causing many cancellations and doversions of the traffic to Rzeszów and Katowice.

Many passengers also choose "Katowice Airport" (KTW). It's the airport situated 90 kilometres west of Krakow but the way leads all via a motorway and by car it takes about an hour to get from the airport to Ostrava via S1/A4 roads. The airport has direct connections with over 30 destinations across Europe and Asia. The airport is a base of [Wizzair] and has strong network of Wizzair flights:

Seasonal: Bourgas, Grenoble There is a plenty of car rentals at the airport including Avis, Budget or the private of the airport called GTL LOT Car Rental.

There is a 90-minute bus connection between Kraków City and Katowice Airport: Matuszek Airport Transfer [1], cost from 44 88 PLN round trip Pyrzowice Ekspres [[2]] cost from 45 PLN one way

Both of the companies are synchronised with aiport air traffic, and once you take your luggage at the terminal and leave the airport, the bus will be waiting for you right in front of the building.
