It's a non-profit venture, where 100% of the proceeds are put into the local community through education and farming. Half of the island is used for the resort, while the other half contains plots of land given to locals who are in need of space for subsistence farming. A range of accommodation is available, from camping and dorms, up to a luxurious cottage. The two geo-domes are beautiful and rustic and offer views of the landscape from your bed. They've opened their own secure car park at Rutindo Market. edit
