Laja Yang is a village in Northern Myanmar.

Laja Yang is an important Village on the way to Kachin State Capital, Myitkyina - Bhamo Highway, about 20 kilometers from Laiza. Myanmar(Burmese) infantry battalian No. 321 is also locted in the village. Thousands of Kachin and Burmese soldiers died in the village during a more than four decades civil war.
One need to stop, get down from vehicle at the military post and walk if you visit to either Laiza or Bhamo.
