[edit] Kuching as a Division and District
Kuching is also a Division (super district) and a District. In Kuching division, there are three districts (Kuching, Bau and Lundu) and two sub-districts (Sematan and Siburan). Kuching division is the third smallest division throughout Sarawak after Betong and Sarikei.
Kuching district consists of Kuching district, Siburan sub-district (some 20km away from Kuching) and Padawan sub-district.
