About 2km away is the very pleasant small village of Podkoren, home to Pr'Tatko youth hostel, which is probably the cheapest place to stay in the area and is in a very nice old building. It has a fully equipped kitchen, friendly staff and a very friendly cat. Across the road is a hotel, which has a bar that is open to non-residents.
