(Redirected from Krakow/Wesola)
In the Middle Ages, the houses of the Wesola (Wesola meaning "happy") were made of wood and poorer craftsmen lived there. There are a lot of fine 19th century hospital buildings (especially along the Copernicus Street), three beautiful churches, the oldest Polish botanic garden, two museums (ul. Radziwillowska and ul. Zyblikieicza), a monumental building of the PKO Bank from the early 20th century, and the main post office in this part of town.
