Konduz is a major city in the North of Afghanistan.

Most visitors will arrive by road from Pol-e Khomri. The road has been reconstructed from Pol-e Khomri. It is also possible to get to Konduz from Mazar-e Sharif and Taloqan.

The city is fairly small. The local roads, like others in Afghanistan are poor. Local taxis are available.
