Kidepo Valley National Park [1] is in north west Uganda. It covers 1436 sq km and borders onto Sudan.

Predators unique to the region are the aardwolf, bat-eared fox, caracal, cheetah, hunting dog and striped hyena. Lions, leopards, giraffe and small cats are found within the park.
